Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.Science says that the soul doesn’t exist because it can’t be detected.
But science doesn’t know what it can’t detect, because it can’t detect it.
What if science can detect the soul, but doesn’t know it?
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
If all of our impurity and corruption are in our heart, and gravity was created to attract all of the impurity and corruption of creation, is the heart a created instance of gravity?
Logic says yes.
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
The soul as our personality and self-awareness has the attributes of heart, soul and mind.
Can we examine these attributes and get a better understanding of what the soul is and where it is located?
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood. And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust. For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
We are forbidden to eat blood because the blood is the life of a creature.
Is this equivalent to the soul?
If I can “pour out my soul,” does it mean that the soul inhabits the blood?
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Humans have both a spirit and a soul.
According to the Bible it is possible to distinguish them.
Could it be as simple as the different states of matter: solid, liquid, gas and plasma?
Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
If animals created on land on the 6th day were derived from progenitors created in the sea and air on the 5th day we would expect this to be evident.
It could form the basis of a classification system.
Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.
Water is the essence of free will. Water is inherently unstable. Water is the physical medium in which cause and effect are linked. Gall is defined in a variety of ways, but they represent cause and effect.
Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.
Water is inherently unstable. Anything created from it will also be unstable.
That’s how science can be so disastrously wrong about human origins but still produce a marvel like the iPhone.
In Chapter 1 we are introduced to Carlton Feathers, a procrastinator who has not registered for World Monetary Union or received his barcode tattoo.
We also learn that this is the fulfillment of an ancient Biblical prophecy.
Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?
Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?
If science is right then there is no God.
Therefore there is no judgment for sin.
Therefore I can do whatever I want and have no guilt.
For some reason the logic doesn’t work.
